It’s the largest industry showcase in the region and naturally it’s brought to you by DJ Magazine. But before the Palme Middle East kicks off in mid- April at the International Convention centre, their DJ competition kicks into life with the opening heat on March 23rd and the finals at Quantum on April 6. Previous winners include current DJ Mag Top 50 winner Amin Golestan while this year’s victor will walk away with $8,000 worth of equipment and prizes, as well as the opportunity to represent the Middle East in the Pioneer Digital Battle Finals - Asia, all expenses paid.

DJs are asked to send in a demo mix via CD or download link, with over 250 entries expected. The chosen 30 will then battle it out on Pioneer equipment in the two heats before progressing to the finals at Quantum. Head to www. palmedjcomp.com for more details on how to enter.
