Scope is Belfast based DJ Producer Ric McClelland His Deep Melodic take on House has been gaining support from the likes of Sander Kleinenberg Jimpster Silicone Soul Fish Go Deep Nic Fancuilli plus many other DJ's and music lovers since the release of his massive debut ep "Strung Out", earlier this year! With influences such as Kerri Chandler, The Timewriter and Funk D'void, Ric's sound as Scope takes as much from the early 1990's as it does from the present day as he aims to keep his output widely versatile, yet solid and dancefloor friendly! Consistently busy in the studio, 2007 is set to be a big year for Ric! Clocking up no less than 6 full eps in as many months, remixing Francois Dubois, Milton Jackson, Dave Robertson & Jon Gurd, Steve Mill and Mode Music's Resoul, Collaborating with Nikola Gala and also finding time to start up a new production venture with fellow Belfast DJ Sean Grieve "The Rise Project". All this just about leaves time for DJing and taking the Scope sound out to the clubs!
