I started working as a dj in 1990 when I became resident of Club Luna in Mallorca, Spain. From that moment on, my interest in music changed radically and I started mixing music but also producing and remixing; which led me to my current professional situation as a dj, producer and remixer. The music I mix includes a wide range of new music tendencies always related to house music. I try to combine the brand new releases (NY, Chicago, UK, etc.) with the old school and dance floor classics. The evolution of my sets include deep house, garage, underground, latin, afro, disco, always trying to find the cool side of each style without forgetting the most important thing: that people never stop dancing. I have collaborated with local artists as a remixer and I also produced music for local television programs. Max Music released my first record Elements Inc in November 1997. Currently and over the last 9 years, Ive been responsible for the dj booth and dj bookings at Pacha Palma de Mallorca. I'm the resident dj of the club and also the promoter of Sunday sessions and in charge of the summer parties called "Session de Luxe". On these parties I had the great pleasure of having dj guests like: Boris Dlugosch, Jamie Lewis, DJ Vibe, Smokin' Jo, Brian Tappert, Sandy Rivera, DJ Spen, Rulers Of The Deep, DJ Pippi and the top djs of the Spanish House scene. For 5 years I produced a 2-hour radio show at Flaix FM 100.6. On this program I played the latest releases of House Music and eventually interviewed top djs who mixed at Pacha. I also collaborated with local and international music magazines in which my charts were included (DJ Mag, Discoid, etc). In August of 2000, together with Daniel Klein, we set up our own record label, called "Flamingo Discos". Our first self produced record "Ritmo Para Voce" was released in August of 2001 and distributed by "Peppermint Jam Distribution". In September 2001 I released my first CD compilation titled The Latin Sound of Pacha in partnership with Tommy Boy UK and Pacha Group. The track listing is a collection of the best house tracks with Latin and Brazilian music influences. The album was greatly reviewed in the best international dance magazines such DJ Mag, Mix Mag, Ministry, 7 Mag., Blues & Soul, Raveline, and the like. The release of this album allowed me to present it live in venues such as Pacha Ibiza, Pacha Mallorca and Cargo London. Im the resident DJ of the new hip club in Palma de Mallorca: Club 113 since August 2002. In May 2004 has been released the Pacha Ibiza compilation titled Renaissance presents Pacha Ibiza, a collaboration between world most famous club and the Uk company. Its a triple pack and i mixed and compiled the 2nd Cd which i tittled The Afroterraneo Mix which includes tracks from Louie Vega, Blaze, Brian Tappert, SUMO, amongst others as well as my latest productions and its a clear example of what I like to play on my dj sets. This Cd is getting very good reactions around the world thanks to its worldwide distribution. In Sept. 2004 I started as a quarterly resident at the famous Ben Watt club Neighbourhood, based in West London at the parties One Starry Night. KN @ CATWALK, BARCELONA, SPAIN ==== Time Out Dubai - Intervierw What can we expect from your upcoming set? A musical trip full of rhythm, soul, groove, good vibes, energy and all about what house music is. Since I was one time at 360 as a visitor I really wanted to play there, I love open air places and that one possibly is one of the best in the world, having the sea all around, beautiful views and a very modern and trendy design, that’s why im so excited to play there, so I will give all I have inside, as I usually say I will put my soul over the mixer and I will let it work. Have you been to Dubai before? If so, give us your impressions of the nightlife scene here. Yes, actually I have played 3 times in Dubai and 1 time in Abu Dhabi, all times has been good and funny, I really like the nightlife here, I think is very mixed, it contains people from all over the world, but the whole thing is very fresh, you can feel its young in spirit and all the people really want to have fun and enjoy the music, it’s a place where the djs can express all which they love in music, not necessarly playing commercial tracks or easy music. What's the best night you've ever played? Aside from 360, obviously... This is a very difficult question , everytime I don’t really know what to answer because fortunately most of the nights are great J, But I always remember my first dj gig in tokyo at club Air, was amazing, all night the people were loving and shouting to every track I played, was such an emotional experience, at the end I was playing my all time classics and people were singing to them, it was the perfect connection between me and the audience, they didn’t want to leave the club and I had to go out of the dj booth and hide myself in a room and they kept sin
