Having started DJing at 14, for weddings, birthday parties and other events through his agent, JSK soon got the taste for what he wanted to pursue. A year later, he opened his own night by infiltrating a one of the North’s prime new music clubs, on the outskirts of Manchester UK, playing everything from House, Breakbeat, Techo to Electronica and formed a strong following.
Being interested in production and musicianship, JSK moved into the City of Manchester and studied music and recording, Simon played across Manchester, having residencies at prestigious Manchester venues and playing for large scale events playing House and Electro, everything from Masters At Work to Leftfield.

Having supported artists/labels such as Hed Kandi, One Foot in the Groove (Tony Walker / Marc Dennis), Tom Wainright, Ian Carey, Marshall Jefferson and Scratch Perverts, Just Some Kid took over the peak time Saturday night residency at Pitcher and Piano with his night, ELECTRIC PIANO. Here he perfected his signature sound of edgy jacked-up electro and bass driven house, whilst running his own recording studio in the illustrious Chorlton area, producing tour-albums for up and coming artists across the music mecca of Manchester.
